The 24H Series’ European season opener has been moved from Monza to Estoril, due to the Coronavirus epidemiological emergency in Italy.
The 12H Monza, scheduled to take place on 27/28 March, has been postponed to 10/11 July by mutual agreement of the racetrack’s management team and the series promoter Creventic.
The 12H Estoril will be run instead on the same weekend, 26/28 March, and all confirmed entries for the 12H Monza have now been registered for the Portuguese event.
Creventic’s Ole Dörlemann explained: “The safety of everyone attending and competing at our events has always been our top priority, and will continue to be so in the years that follow. At the same time, we are very pleased to have found a workable solution to this issue with the Monza management team and remain confident that Creventic’s first race at the temple of speed in July will be successful and memorable.”
