SMP, promoter of the Russian Circuit Racing Series has unveiled the 2019 calendar for TCR Russia that will be run on seven race meetings once again.
The season will begin as usual at Fort Grozny in the second half of April, while Sochi Autodrom will host the season’s finale on the first weekend of September.
The championship will visit the ADM Raceway for the first time. The circuit, that is located 16 kilometres East of Moscow, had already been listed for hosting an event in 2018; however it was replaced by a second trip to Fort Grozny because its reconstruction was not finished.
The ADM Raceway has been completely rebuilt and was given an FIA Grade 4 homologation.
SMP chief Oleg Petrikov said: "We took into consideration different options and together with RAF, Russia’s Motorsport Authority, have approved the calendar for 2019. For long time we had a lack of racetracks in Russia, but now each event will take place on a different circuit. Such variety is also testament to the growth of SMP Russian Circuit Racing Series."
