The TCR Denmark championship returns to Jyllandsringen

30 September 2021

For the penultimate event of the season, TCR Denmark returns to Jyllandsringen for the third time this year.
The 2020 champion Kasper H. Jensen (Massive Motorsport, Honda Civic) defends a 28-point lead in the standings when 162 points are still at stake in the six remaining races.
Casper Elgaard (Brian Madsen Motorsport, Peugeot 308) is Jensen's closest rival, while Michael Markussen (Markussen Motorsport, Peugeot 308) is currently placed third, a further 20 points adrift.
The LM Motorsport's pair of Jan Magnussen and Nicolai Sylvest are still in contention. The drivers of the CUPRA Leon Competición cars are equal, 79 points behind the leader after they were involved in racing incidents during the previous event on Aarhus' street circuit. For the second time this season, the team's crew had to work against the clock to rebuild Magnussen's car that had already been seriously damaged at Copenhagen.
