MG is the latest brand to enter the TCR arena.
The MG 6 TCR will make its maiden appearance this weekend in the TCR Asia and TCR China joint event at Zhejiang International Circuit.
The new racing car that was unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April has been designed and built in China, as the MG brands belongs to the Chinese group SAIC Motor.
The MG XPower team will run two cars at Zhejiang for Macau’s Rodolfo Avila and China’s Zhang Zhen Dong; however they are not eligible to score points as have been accepted under a temporary TCR homologation form.
