TCR China’s second event put off to a later date

27 May 2021

The promoter of the TCR China championship announced the postponement to a later date of the second event of the season that was due to take place at Zhouzhou International Circuit on June 11/13.
This decision was taken in accordance with the Notice of the Chinese Automobile and Motor Federation on the Comprehensive Implementation of the Special Rectification and Governance of Motor Motorcycle Races published by the Chinese Automobile Federation on May 27.
This follows the ordinance of the Chinese Government to suspend with immediate effect the organisation of all the sporting events in order to investigate the respect of the safety measures. The ordinance was issued after 21 runners died last weekend during the 100km high-altitude Huanghe Shilin Mountain Marathon.
