Rosso and Casagrande with Squadra Martino in TCR South America
Juan Ángel Rosso and Fabio Casagrande are the drivers signed by Squadra Martino to race their Honda Civic Type R cars in the 2022 TCR South America.
The Argentine team was classified third in the 2021 TCR South America Teams’ championship, fielding three Civic cars and placing Juan Manuel Sapag fourth in the Drivers’ championship.
“For us it is important to confirm our participation, representing JAS Motorsport and Honda in this part of the world,” said team principal Sebastián Martino. “We will start our pre-season testing programme on 15thFebruary with the aim of completing three or four tests before the start of the season. I am confident in the potential of our line-up; Rosso has a great experience and Casagrande has improved a lot last year.”
Both drivers have raced for the team last year. Rosso finished second in the Buenos Aires endurance race sharing the car with Matías Milla, while Casagrande joined from the fourth event of the season after driving an Alfa Romeo for PropCar Racing.
