Jensen, Elgaard and Birch join efforts for 2022 TCR Denmark

TCR Denmark’s double champion Kasper H. Jensen will join efforts with former Danish Touring Car champion Casper Elgaard and Gustav Birch, the winner of the series’ Under 23 Trophy, for the 2022 season.
They will race together under the banner of a brand-new outfit, GMB Motorsport that has been established in Silkeborg.

“I am very much looking forward to begin this new collaboration with GMB Motorsport. I like their goals and approach. Now I have the opportunity to drive both in TCR at home and GT3 abroad with Gustav and Casper, which is great!” Jensen said.

Elgaard who will also act as team principal added: “I’m pleased and proud to have the opportunity to be part of GMB Motorsport. It has always been my dream to lead a team with a strong focus on talent development. At GMB Motorsport it will be possible to go all the way from karting to the Le Mans 24 hours, and I dream that one day we will have a Le Mans team where all the drivers have gone all the way through our talent development programme.”

The team have not yet unveiled the brand of the cars they will run in TCR Denmark.
