CRM Motorsport in TCR Italy with two Hyundai cars
CRM Motorsport will return to the TCR Italy championship in 2022, with a two-car expanded line-up.
The team ran one Hyundai i30 N in 2020 and 2021 for Ettore Carminati, whose best result was a fourth place at Mugello in 2020, when he was classified 11th in the final standings.
In 2022, CRM Motorsport will add a second i30 N for Michele Imberti, the winner of TCR Italy’s DSG Trophy in 2020. Last year, Imberti raced at the wheel of a CUPRA Leon Competición for Élite Motorsport, finishing seventh in the championship with two podium results at Imola and Mugello.
“We are both happy and optimistic,” said Carminati. “Last year Michele had a good season, while I had less luck. I am confident that we can both improve in 2022.”
