A new CUPRA Leon VZ for Michael Markussen in TCR Denmark

For the new season in TCR Denmark, Michael Markussen has switched from the CUPRA Leon Competición he raced last year to a new CUPRA Leon VZ.

In each of the past two seasons, Markussen scored one race win and finished twice sixth in the championship for his own Markussen Racing team.

"This year we have to do better, and our minimum goal is to make the top three, so we made some changes to the team. This includes a full-time involvement of Casper Elgaard, whose presence during the full events will give me the opportunity to focus more on the races," said Markussen. "Last year, Casper was only with us on Friday and Saturday and that meant that I had to act as team manager on Sunday. I also have a new car; I haven't had the chance to test it yet, so it will be a big challenge."
