Lestrup Racing signs Oliver Söderström

Oliver Söderström will make his debut in the TCR Scandinavia series at the wheel of a Lestrup Racing Team Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.
The 19-year-old Swedish driver is switching to Touring Car racing after two seasons in the German Formula 4 championship.

“The series is very competitive with a mix of very fast and experienced drivers, and younger drivers and it will be a great experience for me to compete against them,” said Söderström. “Lestrup Racing is a focussed team with two cars and I like the feeling of how the team works with the driver.”

Lestrup Racing Team ran a Golf GTI for Albin Wärnelöv in the 2017 TCR Scandinavia for the whole season, while Dennis Strandberg, Andreas Wernersson and Robin Fredriksson alternated in the second car.
