Renault Mégane TCR to hit the track in 2018

25 August 2017

Switzerland-based team MVM announced that it has designed and built a Renault Mégane in TCR technical specifications.
Having received the authorisation from the manufacturer to design, build, develop, race and sale the Renault Mégane TCR, MVM has completed the first rolling chassis that will undergo an intensive testing schedule as soon as the powertrain will be in operation.
The Swiss tuner Vuković Motorsport, led by Milenko Vuković, has saved no efforts during the initial phase of designing and building the prototype.
“We have put all our energies and resources in this project with which we want to demonstrate the benefits of our systematic and high-quality approach to ultimate performances within the given rules. We wanted the Mégane TCR to have all the ingredients it takes for being a sound and competitive car out of the box.” Vuković said.
MVM will now focus on the engine development, while preparing for an extensive testing programme.
Cars will be offered for sale to teams as soon as the TCR homologation procedure will be completed.
